*MOVIE REVIEW*

So... this weekend has been filled with movies, movies, and more movies!!

True Grit (2010) starring Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon, and Josh Brolin is a remake of the 1969 classic with John Wayne. Rated- PG 13 for intense sequences of western violence including disturbing images.

After watching this movie, I can honestly say that it is not best to allow anyone under the age of 13 watch this movie without an adult seeing it and approving first. As they explained in the rating, there are definitely scenes of western violence that show disturbing images.

Overall, this movie was really great, especially if you love westerns!! I did not care so much for the ending, but the young girl's motivation and dedication to finding her father's murderer is very refreshing! She is highly ethical and determined making a comical pair with a drunken marshal, Jeff Bridges.

The next movie- I am absolutely in love with > >

No Strings Attached (2011) starring Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher. Rated R for sexual content, language and some drug material. When they rated this movie as R, meaning no one under 17 should see this movie, they meant it.

It is a wonderful yet comical romance between two "sex" friends that have known each other since summer camp when they were kids. All adults will love this movie! Just please please please don't let your kids see it until they are old enough!

Two Other GREAT MOVIES that are not still at the box office, but are definitely at any local Blockbuster or Redbox: The Back-Up Plan & Sex and the City 2!!

The Back-Up Plan (2010) starring Jennifer Lopez and Alex O'Loughlin is a romantic comedy centering around a woman who is determined to have children, even if through artificial insemination, finds the man of her dreams the day she is inseminated. Rated PG-13 for sexual content including references, some crude material and language. Again, they are so right on the ratings, even some parts are a little racy/ crude for anyone under at least 16-17.

I absolutely loved this movie!! And Jennifer Lopez after taking a few years off from work to have a family of her own is definitely back in the limelight! This is a great movie to watch with your significant other if you can force him to watch it or with your best girlfriends!

Sex and the City 2 (2010) starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon is a sequel to the first Sex and the City movie, as well as a continuation of the beloved series!  Rated R for some strong sexual content and language. Man, were they right on again! Please please please take this rating seriously! There is definitely a lot of sexual content and language not appropriate for anyone under 17!

LOVE IT!!! Awesome sequel dealing with marriage, having a family, and getting older!! Topics never quite talked about in the first movie nor in the series! They truly capture the notions behind marriage and having a family, as well as its downsides. Stunning performances!!
